Cause and Effect…
We do things to have a desired effect or outcome. We exercise to get strong, lose weight, tone up, get fitter.
We see a physio to get rid of pain, improve function, get back to doing what we love.
Yet it amazes me at what we expect to happen and what we put in to make that happen….
Increasingly we are getting more sedentary at what we do day in , day out. we sit to work, we give our bodies no real exercise or movement unless we do it intentionally and then we wonder why we get sore and stiff and painful.
That increases and before too long we are struggling.
Doctor google gets a work out and we find a solution so we do a bit of this and that and nothing changes…you tell us you’ve tried all that before and it didn’t work.
For the cake makers – managing your body that’s injured is like baking a cake. Do the right steps in the right order in the right quantity and you can’t go far wrong. It’s our job to recognise what needs addressing and doing – it’s your job to follow that through.
