We have all been there when we have pain  – tablets, rest, avoidance, treatment, exercise – some work some don’t but when we have recurring pain..where can we find the answer to get rid of it? – hopefully for good?

The long and short of it is simple – you need to address what is actually causing your pain NOW. What initially was the problem may have resolved and you are left with the after effects  giving you pain.

We get a large majority of clients who have come in with a disc problem or worn out facet joints who say –

“…well its damaged now so we cant do anything else and we just have to live with it..”

Now whilst that’s true in the case that the tissues have changed – the latter is definitely NOT TRUE – there are heaps of things you can do to ensure you get the best management possible!

6 months ago you may have had a fall, you may have damaged your spine – but after the healing process is over any residual pain is unlikely to be from that acute injury… you need to be thinking something else is causing it.

Now don’t get me wrong – pain is complex, the back is complex, the body is complex and we have the outside factors such as work, sport and home to overlay on top to get the whole picture of what’s going on – but guaranteed in most cases ongoing pain is due to posture issues, muscle imbalances and lack of core strength as a major component.

What that means in a nutshell is we are not using our bodies effectively and efficiently and the stresses and strains that places on the body causes ongoing pain.


Your plan of action should include :

  • knowing what causes your pain and addressing that
  • listening to what your body is telling you
  • seeking help if required

“….but I’ve seen heaps of people before and NOTHING has helped so far…”
