Effective Health Management comes with having a plan…

Are you ready for better health?

Cause and Effect…

We do things to have a desired effect or outcome. We exercise to get strong, lose weight, tone up, get fitter.

We see a physio to get rid of pain, improve function, get back to doing what we love.

Yet it amazes me at what we expect to happen and what we put in to make that happen….

Increasingly we are getting more sedentary at what we do day in , day out. we sit to work, we give our bodies no real exercise or movement unless we do it intentionally and then we wonder why we get sore and stiff and painful.

That increases and before too long we are struggling.

Doctor google gets a work out and we find a solution so we do a bit of this and that and nothing changes…you tell us you’ve tried all that before and it didn’t work.

For the cake makers – managing your body that’s injured is like baking a cake. Do the right steps in the right order in the right quantity and you can’t go far wrong. It’s our job to recognise what needs addressing and doing – it’s your job to follow that through.

In order for the body to change and become pain free, or stronger or not fatigue, or not give up when over stressed – you need to be doing something aimed specifically at addressing that.

Management needs to have INTENT to it. It needs to have a STRATEGY behind it

We hear all the time about – yes I’m doing that, and yes I’m stretching, and yes I do these for strength work….

But the INTENT and STRATEGY behind what you do and when you do needs to be correct and it needs to add up

For example – you have a weak. tight muscle.

You are working it, stretching it / releasing it.

You need to also work out WHY its weak and tight… what muscles are working against it and preventing it from functioning … which ones are compensating for it.

Consider….a STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT system that addresses all those issues – and the components then needs to be done in the right order.

RELEASE to get the spasm or fibres ‘freer’ and ready to use, WORK it to get those now able fibres to work, then STRETCH it after to prevent spasm and shortening.

But also consider the antagonist and what that’s doing – trying to work a weak muscle against a stronger opposing muscle will never work, especially if you then don’t address the underlying cause.

Have a plan.

We do. With all our clients.

It’s your choice if you follow it.

A little but of this and a little but of that without direction wont work.

You need to be aware of what to do with each specific issue.

A happens… I do B. C happens…. I do D.

Don’t have a plan? Then you don’t have a management strategy.

Get yourself a strategy. Get yourself an effect.

Fancy a strategic plan of actionable steps….Give us a call.
